Getting your thermal printer up and running doesn't have to be a multi-day IT headache. With modern POS software, pairing and printing can be done in seconds.

Step 1: Turn on and pair the printer

Turn on your Bluetooth thermal printer and ensure it is in pairing mode. On your Android tablet, go to settings and scan for new Bluetooth devices. Select your printer and enter the pairing code (usually 0000 or 1234).

Step 2: Connect within the app

Open your POS application, navigate to printer settings, and select Bluetooth printer. Select your paired printer from the dropdown menu. You can do the same for USB connection if you have a physical cable.

Step 3: Test print

Hit the test print button to print a test ticket. Ensure that the paper width configuration (58mm or 80mm) matches your printer to avoid chopped text.
